Zander is asking for your help for a school project. Please take time to take this poll and help him get a richly deserved “A” or whatever they give out these days.
In more distressing news, pop sensation and all-round nice person (trust me, she is) Anastacia has confirmed that she has breast cancer in a New York news conference. No word on any treatment at the moment as she will continue her busy schedule with video shoots and tour. She also suffers from Crohns disease, a hereditary disease affecting the digestive tract that is not only debilitating at times but can lead to fatal complications if not treated, which was diagnosed when she was 13 and which she keeps in check by diet and medication. Here is a link to CCFA for more information and how you can help.
Our prayers are with you Anastacia.

This just sent to me from a friend. A report from KMED in Medford, Oregon states that North Long Lake in Brainerd, Minnesota has a big hole in the middle. It seems that a half-mile long seam in the lake has refused to freeze even though the rest of the lake is frozen thick enough to drive over. Locals and scientist a baffled. You can read more about it here.
I just noticed that the same article is also linked by Fark. I guess he got the page from Drew.
Yeah, yeah I see that link about Brittany Spears being in Die Hard 4. Maybe this time John McClane will not be able to save the damsel in distress. No, I don’t have anything against the less than stellar “talent” of Spears, it is that she is such an easy target.

If you haven’t noticed, I have been doing a little work on the design of the blog. I’ve added a link to the entries and streamlined some of the processing. Also, I have fixed some of the browser incompatibility problems that have crept up since the latest update of IE and Mozilla. Let me know if you have any problems.

This is just too bizarre if it is true. According to WPVI in Philadelphia, an 18 year old male had his head re-attached, i.e. his skull was separated from his body (EWWWW!). The arteries and the spinal chord were still intact and the doctors used a new procedure to put his skull back in. All the MSTies would know that this is good news for Kalgon. Thanks (or not) to Oliver and Lockergnome Bits and Bytes for this piece. *shivers* Now I’m gonna have nightmares of disembodied skulls (The Screaming Skull!), peacocks, and evil lily pads. Where’s Mickey! At least he doesn’t have to share a pan with Jan. Okay, enough bad MSTie jokes.
It the Bloggies. Time for you to vote for your favorite blog of this year as well as a new category of lifetime achievement. Vote Now! And no, I’m not on it. I didn’t get started blogging until this month. But wait until next year. Mwhahahahah!
Okay, now this is just plan stupid. A new virus that attacks another virus? The Sahay virus not only corrupts your computer, but also attacks the Yaha virus. It’s getting where hackers can’t even trust other hackers any more.
