Now this is interesting. The Bush camp considers this man, George Soros, as evil, going as far to calling him “unethical” and some other not so nice terms. The Bush people went as far to say that he “purchased the Democratic Party“. Bush, I wouldn’t be calling people names or throwing accusations given what your campaign people have done in the past and in the present. But going after a philanthropist who has spend billions of his personal wealth (that he gain in a unique, novel way) in spreading democracy and peace is not a good idea, even if Soros did vow to get you out of office with his sizable and legal contributions (don’t play coy Bush, your campaign is going it as well to the tune of $110 million so far).
Personally I think people and groups like Soros and SwiftVets should just get out of the political arena altogether. Let the two candidates stand on their policies. And for campaign finance, each candidate should be given a equal sum of money by the government and equal amount of air time, that is all you get… period. No fund raising, no dinners. Maybe if we had that system then people who aren’t monstrously wealthy can have an equal shot at being president.
And while I’m on SwiftVets… what the hell are these people smoking? Kerry lied about what was happening in Vietnam and he demoralized you? I seem to remember many a reporter commenting on the atrocities committed by American soldiers during the war and not being allowed to report it at the time. All the reports of what would realistically be called war crimes came out after the war was over, where was the men of SwftVets?
And I just love how they are selective in their quotes when they “prove” Kerry is lying about his record. If I used that type of “evidence” on a term paper I would have never made it out of high school.
Of course now all those SwiftVets are going to gang up on me and try to remove my site because I linked to them and criticized them. The link here is for those who want to look into the matter themselves, boys, so that they can make an informed decision.
And what the hell is the deal with torturing the Iraqi prisoners?! I thought we were a civilized nation with a compassionate military and then some lug-headed a-holes mistreat prisoners. Those involved has made the case against the U.S. even stronger with their asinine, sub-human actions that are an abomination to God and nature. I can’t even fathom what mental processes can lead a person to do such horrendous things.
Damn am I pissed-off right now!
