I just read some sad news today.

Laura Branigan, singer of such hits as “Gloria”, “How Am I Supposed To Live Without You”, “Self Control”, and “Power Of Love”, died last Thursday of a brain aneurysm. She was 47.

She was a very beautiful and talented singer whose strong voice and songwriting skills produced staples in the pop music world and allowed her to venture into the realm of acting, going as far as playing Janis Joplin in the critically acclaimed musical Love, Janis.
