Friday Five child

   Posted by: Yoggie   in Uncategorized

Yes, i know I’m late. I’ve been behind on everything this month.

When you were a child…

1. what did you want to be when you grew up and why?
An artist and a writer. I wanted to paint like DaVinci and write like Issac Asimov. Unfortunately when I got older I realized that I enjoyed eating and sleeping in a bed so I decided to find a more steady occupation.

2. who was your favorite person to do things with (excluding your parents)?
Myself. I was a real loner back when I was a kid. I played by myself, talked to myself, played with myself…. uhm, you didn’t read that.

3. did you love school or did you hate it? Why? Did that change as you got older?
I always like school, I just didn’t like all the people with whom I went to school. I always found school as an escape from real life, a time when I didn’t have to worry about anything just learning. It hasn’t changed much since I got older, I just don’t use school as an escape any more.

4. was your family close? What were your favorite family traditions?
I was never close to my family. I always felt like an outsider no matter who I was with me. I’m not even close to my sister or my brother.

5. did you think that being an adult would be cool?
Cool? Not so much as being able to make my own decisions. I realized early in my life that the little frills of being older came with a lot of responsibility and hard work.

And if you are wondering, no, I did not have a happy childhood.

Do your Friday Five.
