I is late!
I don’t know where this week has gone. It has been over a week since my last entry!
Yeah I’m slacking, but I will get a boat load of entries today… that is if the aliens don’t invade.

A food for thought Friday Five… part one.
1) as a child, where did you go for Thanksgiving and who was there?
We used to go to one of my grandparents’ houses for the lunch meal and go to the other grandparent’s house for Christmas. We usually had all of the family and the new people whom the single members of our family were dating.
2) what food(s) do you remember best/were tradition then?
Turkey, dressing, cranberry sauce, corn, peas, green beans, biscuits, assorted pies (at least one pumpkin), and assorted cakes. We always had plenty of food.
3) where do you celebrate now, and with whom?
I celebrate now with my in-laws and my mother-in-law’s house since my relatives live so far away.
4) has your menu changed (if so, whats new?) ?
We have ham along with the turkey. Not much else is different.
5) what are you thankful for this year?
The health and well being of my family and friends.
