1. Are you afraid of the bird flu?
I’m not too afraid of it yet. It seems from the reports that the flu is still mostly confined to birds as human contraction has been limited. I am concerned about how this will effect the bird populations.
2. Do you think, it is coming to CH/D/AT?
It seems to be spreading at an alarming rate.
3. Do you have feathered pets?
I currently have no birds as pets, but I have plenty around my house as I live in a bird sanctuary.
4. Are you tracking this topic in the media?
Yes, I try to keep up.
5. What do you think, how can be the bird flu embanked (be stopped)?
Yes, but it will take a lot of research. I just hope it can be fixed before all the birds are gone.

1. What do you like or dislike about autumn?
I love the color of the leaves, the color of the sky, and the cooler weather (though I have to admit this year it has turned cool early).
2. Have you raked leaves into a pile just to jump in them?
Raked leaves, many times, but I have never done so just to jump in them. I was always afraid of being impaled on a stick.
3. Have you ever carved a pumpkin and how did it turn out?
I don’t think I ever have. I usually just paint or glue the designs on the gourd.
4. Have you ever eaten anything made from pumpkins other than pie?
Pumpkin cake.
5. Where is a good spot to see the leaves change color where you live?
My front yard. There is a whole forest in front of my house.

1. Coffee or tea?
… or me? I’m a southern man so it has to be tea, seet tea.
2. Meat or vegetables?
I’m a meat eater, so I really like meat, but I do have a soft spot for veggies.
3. Sweet or sour?
I tend more toward the sour, though I do like my sweets.
4. Wine or soda?
Strange but I like soda more than wine, but I will not pass up a fine wine if someone else is buying.
5. Beer or coke?
Depends on the food. I generally drink coke. It as been a hell of a long time since I’ve had a beer.

Yes! I’m talking to you, person who can’t be bothered to stop at stop signs! I have a list of things I would like to discuss with you…
- the afore mentioned inability to stop at stop signs and avoid nearly hitting other vehicles
- your ownership of a truck that has no turn signal (since I never saw you use one)
- your headlights don’t work or you are too lazy to turn them on when it is dark (at 9 P.M this time of the year the sun has been down for at least an hour)
- I see you have steering problems since you can’t pick a lane and stay in it
- though I admire you ability to drink beer, drive, and talk on the cell phone at the same time, you should not be practicing it on the road, especially one as crowded as the one the other night
- I see you don’t have a ash tray in the truck or a garbage bag since you threw out your cancer stick butt and your beer can out the window
- you might want to get your eyes checked since you had a police car following you when you chunked the items out and failed to see his lights flashing behind you
- pleading your innocence by using foul language at a volume that the people in the next county can hear is not a good idea when you lead the policeman on a three mile, 35 MPH pursuit with lights and sirens just so you can go to the grocery store
- telling the policeman to f*&k off and marching into the grocery store will get you tazored, especially when the policeman told you to halt – twice
- using the same colorful language when you talk to the reporter about suing for police brutality is never wise
- sending a letter to the editor about the article the reporter wrote about you and about how you are still in jail without first proofreading for gross spelling and grammatical errors will not win you any supporters
- you need to find another excuse for your actions – the “I was outta beer and thought the store was going the close” defense does not work (besides the store doesn’t close, it has been open 24 hours a day for ten years)
Guy in black truck, knowing that you will be driving anyway after they suspend your license, please make a point not to be on the road when I am.

1. Who is your favorite superhero?
Iron Man. I’ve always wanted to be him and I admire his ingenuity in creating his armor to keep himself alive (in more ways than one). And like all other Marvel characters, he has his flaws that he has to work through, But he has the really cool armor.
2. If you could have any superpower what would it be?
Invulnerability. You can do a lot of heroics with the ability to bounce bullets off you and to run into a burning building. Maybe why I like Unbreakable so much.
3. What would your super outfit look like?
Black, all in black. Black fedora, black clothes, black raincoat (or duster) with a black mask. Just because I think black would work well in dark places and it looks cool.
4. What would your super villain/nemesis be like?
I sure hope he is not like Mr. Glass (Elijah Price) in the movie Unbreakable. That was one sadistic, sick puppy. But I guess he would have to be a mental giant with a condition like Mr. Glass
5. What would your catch phrase/calling card be?
“You really don’t want to hurt me.”

1. When did get your first internet-connection?
About ten years ago.
2. For what are you using your internet-connection more – private or business?
Depends on where I am. If at work, then it is mostly business. At home, it is mostly private. The two do blend on a daily basis.
3. Tell us your favourite website!
Just one? I guess it would be www.scifi.com since I visit the site routinely to keep up with what is going on with the SciFi Channel.
4. What service (email, chatting, information, just surfing….) are you using the most?
I would have to say email since most of my work and home time is responding and sending emails, work and personal… a lot of work email.
5. If there is no internet – would you miss something in your life?
Yes, without it I probably would not have a job.

Oo yeah! I am in a dark mood. The kinda dark mood in which I could destroy the world with a single gesture.
Don’t ask me why I’m in this mood… nor how I’m gonna go about destroying the world thing.
Maybe it is the dark, rainy weather and the fact that my office is full of dampness from all the water they let in through the half finished window. Oh yeah, I can feel the allergies and the such-such coming from all of the mold and mildew.
Maybe it is listening to Evanescence all day that has me in such a spate of darkness. (I’ve been wanting to use spate for a long time.) Of course I could just watch Amy Lee for a while. Nah, that would get me out of this mood.
I need some good ol’ zombie blood-and-guts, so dark that there is no hope, suicide is the only way out, Dawn of the Dead meets House of a 1000 Corpses movie.
You don’t want to be near me in this kind of mood. I would gobble up a bloody horror book like nothing right now.
Maybe I should just write my own.
Hell, it beats being depressed like I have been for the past two weeks (explains the lack of posts).
