Prez Bush: “Daddy, Daddy! Those mean ol press people are pickin’ on my war. They won’t report the good stuff going on.”
Ex-Prez Bush: “Grow some backbone, boy.”
Prez Bush: “But what do I do?”
Ex-Prez Bush: “Get the zombified people that still listen to you to write to ABC News telling them to ask for a more ‘balanced’ coverage, not to talk about fightin’ and insurgents all the time.”
Yep, it seems that the hundreds of people who still listen to Bush wrote to ABC News about their coverage. Yes, I said hundreds. Yep, you got plenty of support there sport.

Snakes on a plane
Snakes on a Plane – no need for a punch line. Let’s analyze the title. Snakes – not really funny, especially when you have been bitten. On – located at or attached to, no humor there, unless you are in charge of putting things on top of other things. A – probably the most humorless letter of the alphabet (my sympathies to A-ophiles). Plane – that impossible construct that is supposed to stay in the air, or as Douglas Adams once said, jumps and misses the ground. Put them all together and you get “Snakes on a Plane”… the most anticipated movie that no ones has a clue about except that it stars Samuel L. “you m*&$%#@(&%#r” Jackson and it has snakes… on a plane. How can that not be a cool movie.
Just look what the title alone has spawned….

1) If you were to star in a movie, who would you want to be cast as your love interest?
Hmmm, so many to choose from. Since I’m still juicin’ from Below last night, I’d pick Olivia Williams (she is going to play Dr. Moira MacTaggart in X3). You probably remember her better as Anna Crowe, Bruce Willis’ wife, in The Sixth Sense. She makes the anglophile in me all tingly.
2) What genre of movie would you most like to star in?
Horror, of course.
3) What song would you insist be on the soundtrack?
An original score by Graeme Revell.
4) What would you wear to the premiere of your movie?
Probably a tux. I’m soo predictable.
5) Who would you thank in your Oscar acceptance speech?
It’s a horror movie. They never give Oscars for best actor in a horror movie. But I’d guess I’d thank my family, friends, and others on the film.

IBM Shades of the Past
“Everything that can be invented has been invented.” – Charles H. Duell, Commissioner, U.S. Office of Patents, 1899.
Seems that IBM works for the patent office as well…. in 1899! I hope IBM remembers about the DOS fiasco, they could have been bigger than Microsoft.
“Invention breeds invention.” – R.W. Emerson

1. King/queen or knight/warrior?
Couldn’t I be like a really rich lord instead. If I had to choose, I’d be a knight/warrior.

Clark Kent, I hate heights.
3. Frodo or Aragorn?
Aragorn, he gets to marry an elf princess (yummy Liv Tyler).
4. Obiwan Kenobi or Cpt. Kirk?
Captain “The Shat” Kirk of course, he gets all the women, even the hot green ones.
