Friday night at last

Thank God this day is almost over, it has been a stressful and busy one.  With all the doctor visits, work, and filling out forms, I am exhausted.

It seems the cold weather has taken a break for the next few days as we will locally be getting lows in the 40′s this weekend with high’s in the upper 50′s and 60′s. Unfortunately, it is going to rain all weekend.

My wife is doing better.  She still can’t get around very well, but she doesn’t have a broken foot but a torn muscle.  The problem is that she is terrible with crutches so I have to wheel her around everywhere.

Warning!  Battlestar Galactica spoilers ahead from the episodes of the past two weeks if you haven’t seen them.

Does it seem to anyone else that Battlestar Galactica is just spinning its tires.  There was so much more that could be done with the blasted Earth scenario and Starbuck’s situation that could have been at least hinted at this week, but the episode dwelled on a rising rebellion.  It just seems that everyone has given up and is taking everything at face value.  Why are there “supposedly” two Starbucks?  How did Starbuck get back if her ship was destroyed and her body in the burnt husk?  Why was “Earth” populated by organic Cylons and a model of Centurions that are different from any known model?  How did the organic Cylons get to the part of space with the Twelve Colonies?  Why were there organic Cylons 2,000 years after the Cylons were invented in the Colonies?  There is not a whole lot of episodes left to answer these questions.
