Since I was going to town anyway today, I took my daughter and her friend to see Coraline.  From what I can gather, they both liked the movie though they didn’t say much more than talk about the fat naked woman (in a PG movie?).

My sister-in-law when to see Watchmen and commented that though it was a superhero movie, it was not like Iron Man or Spidey.  Not that it was a bad movie, she said it was quite good, just don’t expect to see a bunch of villain-fighting or superpowers.  From what I remember of the graphic novel, the whole point was that there was no traditional comic book action rather insightful studies into heroes.  She did mention that there was not giant squid at the end… though there is plenty of glowing blue penis.
