• They are still having protest, government sanctioned and not, due to the elections in Iran.  So who is taking bets that all this will blow over and nothing will change?
• People are still clogging the courts with frivolous and stupid, namely the one going before the Supreme Court today arguing that President Obama cannot be legally president because some jerks still don’t believe that the birth certificates are genuine.  No, this is not a repeat of November 2008 and December 2008 though it is the same guy leading the assault.  I wonder if the justices will throw stuff at the litigators this time when they throw the case out of court yet again.
• Test on biofuels for airplanes has gone surprisingly well.  In fact, biofuels seem to work better than current jet fuel.  Problem is that it would currently take the whole of Germany’s land mass to grow the source for the bio part of the fuel. The biofuel test does bring to light the fact that the fuel actually has a colder freezing temperature than currently used fuel.  To top it all off, the test were done as “drop-in” which means no modifications to engines will be needed.
• North Korea is still saying that they will launch a test missile toward Hawaii.  Is it just me or is the North Korean government just trying to piss off everyone in the world?  Even Russia and China have told North Korea to stop.
• Remember the Palin “scandal” that one of the daughter’s had a baby out of wedlock?  Remember the baby-daddy (Levi Johnston) did not end up marrying the girl though the parents were adamant that he would?  Well, he has now decided he needs more than his allotted 15 minutes of fame and has hired a manager/bodyguard and is poised to take on the world as “Ricky Hollywood”.  Yeah, we really needed him to come blazing back into the limelight and impregnating more political hopefuls’ daughters.
