We had a bad storm last night which knocked out my DSL, phones, one of my satellite receivers, and a few of the electrical appliances in the house.  I saw the flash and heard/felt the thunder.  The strike had to be close by and it must have struck the ground.  All of the ground base services are out but the power was unaffected (though it did blow out a TV).  I’ll probably be very spotty at updating for the next week.

How am I updating now?  My daughter force me to take her someplace with internet access.
