The sequel to “I Would Do Anything For Love (But I Wont Do That)” by Meat Loaf is the video for “I’d Lie For You (and that’s the Truth)”. I remember seeing this a few years ago.
The video is reprises the roles created by Meat Loaf and Dana Patrick this time Dana’s character lip-syncing to Patti Russo’s voice (Patti has been touring with Meat Loaf for over 14 years and can be seen on the “Paradise By The Dashboard Lights Live” video). Though the song was a hit, the video was criticized for being too fast and flashy and a poor sequel for “Anything”.
