Behold the upgrade
Well, if things worked out okay then this post should go live with the announcement of my install of version 2.8.5 of WordPress is successful. If not then you can’t read this and know that I am pantless.
I recently changed the password to my Twitter account and now my Tweets are not showing up on my blog even after I changed the password in Twitter Tools. I will be working on fixing this problem and installing the latest WordPress upgrade. Wish me luck.

I upgraded to version 2.8.4 of WordPress and as usual the automatic upgrade did not work. I am at a loss as to exactly why the process does not work for me.
Upgraded to WordPress version 2.8 and checking to see if everything is working.
Seems to be so.
WordPress 2.7 is here. Another seamless upgrade with no fanfare. The new WordPress is a bit different especially in the dashboard and it takes a bit getting used to.
On a similar note, if you haven’t applied the latest patch to Internet Explorer, do so ASAP. There is a serious flaw in the browser that allows (and has been reportedly already allowed on many computers) for an attacker to gain access to your computer. The patch was made available today.
We are now up to version 2.6.5 of WordPress with 2.7 looming on the horizon. The automatic upgrade function is not working on my blog (a specific PHP function is disable by my host) so it was back to the old brute force updating of copying all the files.
